Youth Week is about creating a society that values young people and affirms their diversity. The week aims to highlight the amazing things young people (12-24 years) do. In 2008 the focus is on relationships.

Launch of Youth Week

Taking place on Mon 26th May 2008
About this Event: The Hon Nanaia Mahuta, Minister of Youth Affairs is officially launching Youth Week at an open community event in Porirua. The programme features speeches by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Mayor of Porirua, and entertainment by young local talent. The event has been organised by the Ministry of Youth Development with support from NZAAHD, Wesley Community Action and Porirua City Council. Everyone is welcome. Please RSVP.
