Taking place on Fri 28th May 2010About this Event: This is our second Gaming event following a successful initial run in August 09. The event will be held on the Avonmore side of the campus, spread throughout three classrooms. Each holding 20, 12 and 8 machines/players. The campus cafeteria will be open for resting/sleeping (so bring a blanket) or you can crash near your PC. There is a drink vending machine as well as free coffee and tea. Games that will be hosted are: Quake III Arena, Unreal Tournament 3 and Left 4 Dead 2 so far. There will be RTS games available as well and players are free to host any games they wish to play with others at the event. Entry fee will get you a seat for the 18hrs, free coffee and tea, breakfast and lunch on Saturday. There will be spot & door prizes throughout the event; including 1 year PC World subscriptions, PC & Xbox360 games, T-shirts and magazines.
