Taupo Youth Art and Culture Expo
Taking place on Sat 22nd May 2010About this Event: This is a one day community celebration of young people's talent and potential in the field of arts and culture. Young people aged year 7 to 13 and school leavers up the age of 24 can enter a piece or performance. Everything from painting, photography, fashion and woodwork, to music, kapa haka and performance will be celebrated at this event. Art pieces and performances will not be judged however there are heaps of spot prizes as well as hopefully a scholarship for one lucky young person. There will also be a silent auction for those young people who wish to sell their artwork. Register by May 10. Forms available at school offices, Cafe for Youth Health, Taupo Library and Central Plateau REAP/
